RE: Just Thinking
While the trade in will bring a good amount the new truck will cost more also and your insurance will go up. If it was my decision I would drive my current truck to retirement then look at new trucks.
In 6 years you will see a lot of improvements in trucks and could bank a few dollars also.

RE: How structural are the plywood panels in cabinets?
Based on the size of the framing I would say you probably won't be endangering the stability of the cabinet.

RE: RV park in Las Vegas
We stayed at Circus Circus and felt relatively safe. It was just a large parking lot surrounded by a tall fence.
It has power, water, and sewer connections spaced out within that area. Very little shade but there were some stunted trees on some of the islands. A dog run with a p gravel base was located near the fence line. It was on the strip.

RE: '03 4 Winds 5000 21RB Chevy chassis 79k mi. what's it worth?
There is no such thing as a minor roof leak. What is the manufacturer built date on the tires.
Be prepared to reply to the above from any serious shopper.

RE: batteries in the winter
Turn off your battety disconnect and just leave the batteries in the MH. No nred for a charger as there is no discharge. If they won't hold a charge all winter disconnected they need replacing.
I consider this to be incorrect information as they can loose up to 5% charge per month.
Big temperature shift from South Louisiana and Michigan this time of year. Temperature affects how fast a battery discharges, faster in warm weather, slower in cold weather. My boat sits in Michigan from Oct. to April with the battery sitting in it just disconnected, never a problem.
Never thought to look where he is located. Right you are. If I did that I would have to buy new batteries every year.

RE: An EV motor home/van?
Wife has a RZ450E with a range of 245 miles. If she uses the AC or heat that drops to 185 miles. That is very compatible to this van.. Now for her needs that is perfectly acceptable. We have a home charger for charging. This van does have a good amount of solar to extend its range.
Why not a tesla? They can't legally be sold in the state. No sales no repair service no tesla.

RE: 5th gen 4runner limited
We recently sold a 2012 that we used to tow a 19 foot Airstream. We used sway control but no weight distribution. Be aware that weight distribution should not be used unless you have a hitch from Lexus. Other hitches and OEM hitches don't attach to a frame rail therefore can't withstand the constant flexing.
As a tow vehicle it was stable and got fairly good gas mileage. I would suggest limiting the length of your tow to 19 feet. We had the 6 cylinder Limited.

You need about 250 pound tongue weight. 15% or 300 pounds would be even better.

RE: What to do when warranty won’t help
Change refrigerator model that they are replacing even if you need to pay some amount of difference.
Forget legal threats if they have replaced it 4 times they can't do any more.

RE: Travel Trailer for Two
Max towing capacity of Colorado is 7700 pounds.
Airstream 23FB GVWR is 6000 pounds. Wet weight is 4800 pounds. Well within limits of TV.
We have owned 4 Airstreams through the years and have pulled them with diesel 3/4 tons, 1/2 ton Chevy Silverado, Toyota 4RUNNER, and Toyota tacoma.
My observations are based on experience not on what someone said or what probably would happen.
